Many people find insurance to be confusing and challenging. We understand your concerns completely because not only are there a number of insurance plans out there, but they also come with their own personalities and nuances. For this reason, here are some FAQs to help you navigate the financial aspect of therapy, counseling, and consulting.
Do you check my insurance coverage and benefits?
Yes. We verify your insurance coverage and benefits before your first appointment to help you understand what your plan may cover. Please note that verification does not guarantee payment, as coverage and benefits are subject to change based on your insurance plan.
Do You Accept Medical Health Insurance?
Yes, we are in-network with the following insurance plans.

*Aetna insurance does not cover therapy with Clinical Interns.
Can I still obtain therapy services if you are out-of-network with my insurance?
Yes, you can still receive counseling services even if we are out-of-network with your insurance. Depending on your plan, we may be able to submit claims on your behalf.
In some cases, if we are unable to submit directly to your insurance, you would pay the session fee upfront. We can then provide you with a Superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Individual Therapy
$175-$205 Initial appointment
$155-$185 50-55 minute psychotherapy
Couples, Relationship and Marriage Therapy
$185-$225 Initial appointment
$165-$195 50-55-minute psychotherapy $190-$200 The Gottman Assessment, therapist's review and tailored couples’ treatment plan
Family Therapy (with children, teens, or adult family members)
$185-$225 Initial appointment
$165-$195 50-55-minute psychotherapy
Couples Intensives, Marathon Couples Therapy & Retreats
$2,925 2.25 day Couples Intensives. Please note you may be able to bill 1 hour session per day directly to your insurance for coverage. In this scenario, this could provide a nominal decrease in the total cost.

Do you offer sliding scale or reduced rates?
We offer 2 tiers of sliding scale and reduced rates. Our Clinical Interns can offer a more reduced sliding scale rate. Some of our Licensed Therapists offer sliding scale. This is on a case-by-case basis.
